Maria Elisabeth: Me? I’m a young lady who tries to serve God in every way she can. As to everything else I say, it’s probably tongue-in-cheek. :P I am subject to sudden and alarming fits of madness over books, movies, and especially their characters. I am an avid reader of Jane Austen and Charles Dickens and am head over heels in love with the Scarlet Pimpernel. I am known for laughing immoderately and saying nothing but nonsense. When not writing or blogging (not doing one of those – at least in my head – is quite rare) I can be found doing schoolwork, arguing (yes, I do mean debating!) over anything and everything, eating chocolate, baking, reading a good book, doing the odd bit of sewing, sketching, and especially singing whatever’s stuck in my head at the moment. I blog about writing at The Swirl of Words and about everything and nothing at Miss Georgiana Darcy.
Alexandra: I'm twenty-four years old and passionate about everything in life, including The Scarlet Pimpernel. I first saw the 1982 film at the age of sixteen and have been completely obsessed with the film, book series, and characters ever since. I like to consider TSP1982 as my Day Dream expertise, as I have very strong opinions on the subject (best TSP film version, and Anthony Andrews *is* Sir Percy :)). Besides my constant TSP raving, I am a Christian, a daughter, sister, and piano teacher, and my other non-TSP obsessions include reading voraciously (classics are my specialty), singing, writing, playing the piano, anything and everything British, talking, costume reproduction, the British sci-fi show Doctor Who, musical theatre and costume dramas in general. I blog about costume dramas, musicals, costume reproduction, classic literature and and about everything else in my life (yes, I do have one) at Of Trims and Frills and Furbelows, where, despite my best efforts, a bit of The Scarlet Pimpernel always manages to wiggle itself in.
Amy (aka Miss Dashwood): I am seventeen years old and a diehard classic literature fanatic. Jane Austen tops my list of favorites, but the Scarlet Pimpernel is coming dangerously close. :D I became acquainted with Baroness Orczy's classic book at the age of twelve, and I fell in love immediately. I didn't see the 1982 film until I was sixteen, but it now occupies a special place in my heart. I love raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, and some of my other favorite things include quoting movies (constantly, I'm afraid), reading, writing, cooking, baking, cake decorating, bicycling, lovely clothes, classical music, my Irish heritage and the amazing musical Les Miserables. Oh, and chocolate. Can't forget that. :D I blog about period dramas and everything related to that at Yet Another Period Drama Blog, and I post humorous images and videos (et cetera et cetera et cetera) at Sink Me!.
Hayden: I'm a seventeen-year-old-going-on-eighteen girl in love with Jesus, my wonderful family, musicals, and classic literature. I love period dramas and quote them constantly! I discovered The Scarlet Pimpernel at the age of 16 and instantly became an avid fan and self-proclaimed member of "the League". What's not to love about Sir Percy??? I review modern Christian fiction at A Tree a Book, and A Breeze, and share my cooking escapades at A Kettle in the Kitchen (a blog shared with my mother, sister, and brother). I ramble about everything else under the sun at my main blog, The Story Girl.
Anne: My name is Anne, and as a lover of classic novels, period drama, and real heroes, admiration for The Scarlet Pimpernel naturally follows. I spend my days (re)inventing knitting patterns, turning “what if?” questions into a discussion on the intrinsic worth of man, making soup, reading, fighting off domestic disasters, and striving to be like Christ. I do not blog anywhere else as of now, but I will once I know what to say.
